The Ferrari 365 P2, developed mainly for private teams, was launched in 1965 in the British team of Maranello Concessionaires Ltd to stand up to the challenger Ford in the “Battle of the 24 Hours”
The regulations of 1965 stated that the windscreen of the Ferrari had to be unnecessarily high, giving the P2 Ferraris a distinctive look. The dark red racing car with the blue stripe in the middle and the starting number 10 was driven by mexican racing driver Pedro Rodriguez on 25 September 1965 in the fifth Canadian Grand Prix at the Mosport Park circuit in Canada and reached third place.
